God gave us brains (created after HIS own Likeness (image) and the ability to learn and think to USE them for GOOD. That would include finding cures for diseases that afflict people and kill many.

HE is not interested in anyone perishing or starving to death. Diseases we have had on planet earth in Christ's time spent here. Those who came to Him in Faith, believing HE could and would heal them were rewarded out of His LOVE for us, HIS creation.

So, we have been equipped to do good and to prosper.

There will always be evil and wicked people until the final day of Judgment. Nobody gets away with being a bad person or rejects Christ...

SO by all means use the gifts that God has given each of us. Some have been given more ability to think and and solve things while others have more mechanical skills or skills to farm and feed others. Scientists and mathematicians.. Doctors. Business people and merchants.

Use whatever talent it is that you were born with to excel at whatever that is and do good unto others that your good works may glorify YOUR Father in Heaven.

Your good works are recorded as well as your bad ones..

Creationism is NOT science.

You can't prove God made the heavens and the earth and everything else . . . And I can't prove God didn't.

But saying 'God Did It' does absolutely nothing to 'help' with various problems.

Understanding some of the concepts behind the 'Theory of Evolution' offer 'mechanisms' for understanding how viruses and other germs mutate and could lead to new cures for old diseases.

Does God want us to just say 'It Is The Will Of Allah' and we must suffer the diseases? Or would God want us to apply these big brains he gave us to try and understand everything around us and find the medicines and cures?

Are all those fossil chains and dinosaur bones proof of evolution and a long history our planet has gone through? Or are the Creationists right and the earth was created by God some 6,000 years ago? Did God plant all that fossil evidence and create the nuclear isotopes used in dating the planet?

The fossil records. Theory of Evolution. Theories about asteroids slamming into the earth in the past and eradicating almost all life. Ice ages and more ice ages. All of these things give my fertile imagination grist to chew on.

But 'God Did IT!' . . . What's the fun in that?
