I have watched some highly entertaining high school women's basketball games. Those young ladies played hard and many of them were quite talented. HOWEVER, I have absolutely NO intention of paying to see an NBA game, let alone a WNBA game - both types are played by predominantly pompous, over-hyped prima donnas. Heck, I won't even watch their games on free TV.

Many of the WNBA players are like the U.S. women's soccer players - they grossly overestimate their worth as athletes and delusionally fantasize that they should be paid the same as male athletes in spite of the undeniable FACT that very few people are willing to pay to see them play.

While I don't disagree with the gist of the post, I have watched a few women's basketball games, none pro, and was rather fascinated by how good of a shot some of the lady players actually were.

Iffen one has an actual product that lots of others want
and are willing to pay for, then go earn it. Stop being dependent on the Big Boy's League to support ya.

YOU chose to be a female Basketball player in college and now you have chosen to become one who is paid after college except ya don;t draw enough fans and advertisers to pay for your salaries and expenses.

The MARKETS ALWAYS determine the success or failures of the products before them..

I think personally the WNBA will go the way of the DO-DO bird. No offense to the bird...
