SO yes, we have been civilized a long time.
Thar's a reason there's a big wide river between us and them rebs on the udder side what eats maggots.
Its a safety barrier. It keeps bad taste out and allows civilization to thrive.
The Wright Brothers would never have been able to figure out how to fly iffen they had their brains affected by maggots fer breakfast or any other time.
Here is just a hypothesis.....
It's possible the Rebs lost the war because of eatin maggots fer their diets.. They all had stomach aches from maggots in them.
