Tears and Rage: Democrats Go Full Lunatic Over 'Big, Beautiful Bill' Passage

After much wheeling and dealing, the 'Big, Beautiful Bill' has passed the Senate and is on its way back to the House for any final changes. That should ensure it becomes law sometime in the next few days, and that has Democrats quite literally crying over the outcome.

Several senators have put out videos decrying the reconciliation package as borderline genocidal. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) called it the "most monstrous, immoral piece of legislation" he's ever voted on, claiming that he was "shaking with fury" over the "thousands" who will supposedly die.

My word, dude. Have you considered calming down? Keep in mind that because of the partisan decisions of the Democrat-appointed Senate parliamentarian, this bill was fairly watered down as far as spending cuts go. To the extent that anyone is being kicked off Medicaid, it's only illegal immigrants who shouldn't have been on it in the first place. That is what Murphy claims will cause "thousands" of people to die, as if the United States doesn't already have provisions in place where hospitals can't deny care to anyone who comes through the door.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was no better. She filmed herself sobbing in her car over the bill.

Then there was Sen. Chris Coons, who was spotted filming a rant in a Capitol Building hallway before the vote on the reconciliation package even happened, just in case you were wondering how sincere any of this was.

This is worse than delusional hysteria. It's outright fabrication to push a false narrative. If anything, this bill is too weak when it comes to cutting spending and curtailing misuse of entitlements. For example, many of the green subsidies that were supposed to be repealed survived, as did some of the provisions that allow illegal immigrants to access welfare. Yet, you'd think this bill ended Medicaid completely, judging by the Democrat responses, because these people have no limit to their lunacy.

It's just so ridiculous, and it shows what Republicans are up against when it comes to any semblance of fiscal sanity. Heck, the GOP can pass what I would consider a very subpar bill, in my view, and Democrats still treat it like armageddon. Could you imagine if any serious spending cuts were ever passed? They might start blowing things up.

All of this is about setting the table for 2026. Democrats believe they can paint Republicans as hurting the poor and ride a wave of backlash to victory. It's a strategy, I guess, but I would hope Americans are smart enough to realize the game being played.
