Ya know, Fiz, ya keep accusing me of 'drinking koolaid' and 'being deceived' . . .

While you willfully ignore the obvious and cherry pick 'evidence'.

Putin sending dead Russian soldiers to Ukraine to hide losses: Zelensky

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/putin-sending-dead-russian-soldiers-to-ukraine-to-hide-losses-zelensky/ar-AA1Ha41F

Why It Matters

Ukraine's General Staff said on Saturday Russian forces have sustained over 1,010,000 casualties—killed and wounded—since the start of the full-scale invasion.

While both sides keep tight-lipped about losses, Zelensky is accusing Moscow of hiding the scale of losses from the Russian public for fear of undermining any future mobilization.

Russia nears 1 million war casualties in Ukraine, study finds

http://www.cnn.com/2025/06/04/europe/russia-war-casualties-1-million-ukraine-intl

CNN
Nearly 1 million Russian soldiers have been killed or injured in the country’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to a new study, a grisly measure of the human cost of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s unprovoked three-year assault on his neighbor.

Russia will likely hit the 1 million casualty mark this summer, said the study, published Tuesday by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a think tank in Washington, DC. It said the “stunning” milestone was a “sign of Putin’s blatant disregard for his soldiers.”

Of the estimated 950,000 Russian casualties so far, as many as 250,000 are dead, according to the study. “No Soviet or Russian war since World War II has even come close to Ukraine in terms of fatality rate,” it said. Ukraine has sustained nearly 400,000 casualties, it added, with between 60,000 and 100,000 deaths.

Although Kyiv does not disclose its own combat losses in any detail and Moscow is believed to drastically underestimate its own casualties, the CSIS figures are in line with British and United States intelligence assessments.

Zim: "Given that Putin has brought Russia over a Million dead or wounded Russians in his little misadventure . . ."

You keep quoting that number. Please give me the reputable source? How many dead Ukranians, also?
...

Right after asking that question, I did a quick search and -- guess what?

http://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgeqddw1v1do.

(BBC is not exactly a "Russia-phile" source, nor even neutral, so you can bet they did their best to misreport if they had any room to do that)

FWIW, there was recently a FORMAL EXCHANGE of dead soldiers between Russia and Ukraine. THE RED CROSS OVERSAW, AND DOCUMENTED, THE EXCHANGE. This was carefully watched by the international community and is a pretty good barometer of how the war is going and "source" credibility. It seems like the Ukranian side kind of got flustered after all their big talk:

>Russia promptly handed over 6,060 dead Ukraine soliders.

Ukraine could only scrounge up (with extraordinarily great difficulty and delay) 76 Russian soldiers.

That is almost a 100 to 1 discrepancy, Zim.

Oh, and shortly after this, Russia said it "was ready to hand over another 2,239 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers." Silence so far from Ukraine.

You need to stop drinking the Kool-Aide, Zim.

So, that is one of my sources. I also follow correspondents on the ground.

A source doesn't guaranteed truth, of course. But YOU should suspect that if Ukraine was doing such a great job against Russia in combat that they wouldn't keep losing, losing, and then losing more and more towns, villages, vital strategic points, etc.

And they would have pictures, and bodies, and other evidence to support their claims? Instead of just words from a comedian -- who has NO credibility with the Ukrainian people anymore. And doesn't dare face a vote.

The steady gains by Russia are not open to debate. Which -- you should suspect -- is precisely why PRO-Ukraine-War news sources have grown decidedly quiet in their reporting of this tragic event.

You have got to stop drinking the Kool-Aid, Zim.
