Wait. Illegals are getting letters from DHS telling them they have no status in America, and they don't know what to do?! Say it ain't so! The horror! How can this be?! The country they entered illegally is informing them they're still illegal ...
This isn't rocket science, folks.
hernando arce (@hernandoarce) ~ A Mexican nationalist recently received a letter from DHS stating that her parole has been terminated and now has no status in America! Millions of foreigners are getting these letters.
Okay ... before we move on down this road, let's stop to examine the word Hernando used to describe the Mexican who received this letter from DHS. He did NOT use "national," which is defined as:
Noun ~ a citizen of a particular country, typically entitled to hold that country's passport.
No, Hernando used the word "nationalist," which is defined as:
Noun ~ a person who strongly identifies with their own nation and vigorously supports its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.
So, by Hernando's own assessment (and I am absolutely sure he knows them much better than any of the rest of us do), this person receiving the letter is a proud, ardent Mexican patriot who: (1) has no real interest in assimilating into our society, (2) wants the interests of Mexico to always supersede and win out against the interests of the United States whenever they are in conflict, and (3) illegally invaded our country in order to leech off our much more successful society to the best of their ability - and if that happens to be to our detriment, oh well!
Hernando has committed a classic Freudian slip, here, and has unintentionally revealed a very telling truth.
We have a pretty good idea of what they should do, as does most of X.
