I just finished helping my wife to clean up some of her gruesome 12 inch incision line from the surgery and she has a few ginormous blisters just filled to capacity..
So....... I sterilized a needle and released the fluid and then washed everything with alcohol. This poor woman is really go thru it with this knee replacement surgery compared to the last one. She is tough as nails but she is starting to get worn down. Massive incision line infection. Dermatologist couldn't believe it. So we have medicines to apply as well as antibiotics to take. Now a HUGE half dollar sized blister about three stories tall showed up.
Her leg looks like a tree stump. She has been on the sectional propped up to sleep since this fiasco began..
Part of the problem is that Doc also had to shorten this leg to be the same length as the other one. Now she stands on both legs evenly. This is a huge difference and first time in many years that she can walk evenly.
So after the healing and therapy sessions hopefully she can have a normal walk. She's tough. I know I would not go thru that as well as she has. I'm allergic to pain.. lol!!!!
Hopefully in a few more weeks she might be able to sleep in bed.. Right now its not possible..
I have learned how to do do laundry using the correct amount of detergent and settings. Expert at Drying clothes now also..
What I need to get my out and go check on my clients as that has not been done in quite a while..
