BREAKING: Justice is served as former Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro is disbarred in the state
of New York for attempting to illegally overturn the 2020 election and undermining the “very notion of
our constitutional democracy.”
And the scathing ruling gets even better…
Chesebro was deeply involved in hatching the illegitimate pro-MAGA electors plot. He knowingly and
enthusiastically worked to undo the will of the American people, steal the election from Joe Biden,
and install Trump. Thankfully, he failed.
Judges on the Appellate Division ruled that Chesebro committed a “serious crime” based on his
guilty plea in Georgia’s investigation into the methodical efforts to overturn the state’s election
results. They stated that his felony conspiracy to commit filing false documents must be
considered “unquestionably serious.”
“On that basis alone, respondent’s conduct brings into question his integrity and fitness to continue
engaging in the practice of law in New York,” they wrote.
They added that his behavior undermined “the very notion of our constitutional democracy that
he as an attorney, swore an oath to uphold.”
“Given the testimony and evidence produced at the hearing, we conclude that respondent should
be disbarred based on his conviction of a serious crime,” the judges stated.
True to slippery MAGA form, Chesebro has been unsuccessfully trying to invalidate his 2023 guilty plea.
No doubt he was emboldened by Trump’s election victory and subsequent ushering in of rank
lawlessness, best exemplified in his mass pardon of the January 6th insurrectionists.
Chesebro’s problems are far from over though. He still faces criminal charges in Wisconsin for the
fake elector scheme carried out in that state. Here’s hoping that he gets what he really deserves: prison time.
