The answer, per the article, is "Conservatives" "Organized". I don't think it as simple as that -- I think it is simpler: Individuals, Conservative or not, Organized or not, who want to VOMIT when the see people who can't keep their genitals in their pants when in public, associated VOMIT with "Bud" and with "Target".

--Ok. Here's the article:

--Fiz again: I'm sure the article has more than a little right about how things then went viral. There were self-avowed "Conservatives" who loudly "Organized". And most humans, by their nature, tend to do what "their" group says.

But that sure doesn't explain me. And I don't think that explains what really got the countertrend started. Note, I am not claiming to be an "influencer". By most metrics I certainly am not.

But I absolutely do not belong to any hive-mind group, Conservative or not. I rejected Facebook right at the beginning. I rejected Google, as soon as they admitted they were *aggregating* my behavioral data -- in complete contradiction to what "Don't be Evil" originally stood for.

That was at least 20 years ago. And I still go out of my way to prevent either of these companies from making any money off of me. I don't totally shun them, either. I just PREFER to shop elsewhere rather than preferentially shopping with either of these companies which have demonstrated, to my satisfaction, that they don't give an F*** about me and MY principles.

Now, if people would just get on board with rejecting any party which backs the Demonrats (Leninists) and rejecting companies which make plastic trash which I have to keep replacing because it falls apart within a year or three -- and proceeds to become a blight on all of humanity, for maybe the next thousand years, because it becomes microplastics which lodge in our gonads and our brains.

I'm just a contrary cuss, I guess, when it comes to obnoxious corporations. But I am quite loyal when either a company or a person demonstrates they actually have authetic, quiet, decency.

Even though it is supposedly "okay" to buy Budweiser again, I haven't bought any; and likely won't for years. Maybe for the rest of my life.

And I am unlikely to ever shop in a Target again, unless I literally have no other choice.

I associate these two "brands" with VOMIT. And I am not fooled, in the least, by their feigned "contrition" and fake change of ethics.
