to all the fine thieves who made such a big deal out of green energy and all the benefits of having it which seemingly are no longer being mandated so people have choices and it appears they have decided the GREEN NEW CRAP is just that..
The gullible youngster across the street from me bit into it and had 6 solar panels installed on his roof.
I don't know what he paid for them but iffen he had simply insulated the entire house inside the walls, and made sure there was about 15 inches in the attic space, he wouldn't need all that crap.. Really well made windows (which are NOT Andersen or many of the most advertised) they would have no heat or cooling loss.
I'm a mechanical engineer with a Masters. I also have an MBA and several degrees in Divinity colleges.
I , like Fiz, was a manufacturing company owner for decades. I never lost money and only grew the companies year over year.
I am anal and have to prove and test assertions before I invest in them.
Ya can light a candle and sit it on the floor in front of my entry door system which face due west with no wind breaks in front. So when it is really blowing hard with frigid temps ya can set a candle in front of my doors on the floor and it will not flicker once.
Same for the windows. No candle light flicker.
Solar is a scam. Period. I enjoy my $110.00 total electric bill in the dead of winter which also includes the HEAT for our home and every appliance in here. The house is totally electric. Of course its only $60 bucks for an August or July high heat and humidity month to cool everything to a comfy 68 degrees 24/7.
Its all about sealing in the heat and sealing out the WIND and air.
Ya don;t need all that crap from solar panes on top of yer roof. invest in your house.. Do the obvious things..
There are Federal Government energy tests on all windows. How efficient they are. Mine is rated the absolute best for keeping air from getting thru them.
Second place allowed 7 times more... Ya don't want to know where Andersen landed or a few other highly advertised junk..
All one need do is is give yer own dwelling place a good honest evaluation and then do what needs to be done to keep the outside air OUT and the inside air in..
It ain't rocket science but the windows sealing air out is important..
SO, obviously I am not a fan of solar panels...
