LOL - true.

I have found that taking things to their limits (zero, +/- infinity for example) helps clarify many a concept.

If the entire blockchain network is reduced to a single node

bitnodes.io says there are 22,104 nodes in 101 countries around the world. Arguing that 22,103 nodes are destroyed and only one is spared seems rather unlikely. As someone said, this would be an extinction level event and any survivor would have more immediate needs than finding someone to trade bitcoins.
