For those of us who are comfortable in their own investment vehicles and making good rates of return and growth for decades, and like Smith Barney. make money the old fashioned way, all this chatter about sparrows, robins, golden finches, blackbirds, and other idiotic names of birds for a "bitcoin",
this topic begs the question, what difference does any of it make.. ?
To say that I am not a fan of "bitcoin" would be an understatement. I am honestly tired of hearing about it..
Are Your own investments in dollars or bitcoins?
What is bitcoin backed with for value?
Is it legal tender for everyday transactions?
Honestly, who cares? WHAT difference does it make?
If you decide today to go purchase a new vehicle and pay for it, is the dealership going to accept bitcoins or would they prefer to have you have hand them a good CHECK or just pay cash?
Or do the dumb thing and take out a loan..
Sorry to appear like a grump this morning. I am unaccustomed to getting up to the board so full of a topic that has no interest or value for me.
Would you rather and prefer that I have a million dollars in DOLLARS transferred to your financial institution or do ya want a bunch of bitcoins?
If we reverse the scenario, I'll take the CASH, or coins.
