LOL - kinda figgered.

Nothing 'erroneous' in my statements, Fiz.

There are certain people who have actually established 'new cryptos' and constructed the server farm for mining same that are known to me.

Think what you wish.

BTW: The logic you have just used is "argumentum ad verecundiam"

- it is known as argument to/by authority. Just returned it to ya.

In English, it’s commonly referred to as the "appeal to authority" fallacy. This occurs when someone claims a statement is true solely because an authority figure or expert says so, without providing sufficient evidence, especially if the authority is not relevant to the topic or the claim is outside their expertise.

MT: "Fiz, do you own any crypto ? Have you conducted any transactions using crypto ?"

I have to answer those questions every year on my US tax return -- as do you. So I'm not silly enough to answer your question directly. What I will tell you is I have a very good friend who has Euro citizenship but lives full time in S. America. He isn't subject to US tax laws and his country of nationality doesn't hold him accountable for income and assets outside of Europe.

He deals with crypto regularly. And he originally corrected me when I made the same erroneous assertion about crypto that you did. He demonstrated very clearly my understanding was wrong. Later I updated him on a different issue. That's what good friendships are built upon.
