It's very nearly as cold as it's ever been in the last 500 million years. If it weren't for the recent warming, life might be facing another massive die-off due to cold beyond anything known in at least the last 500 million years. Severe cold kills far more people each year than does extreme heat. And, contrary to popular opinion, life actually THRIVES in warmer temperatures -- as any winter vs summer ought to convince those of us in non equatorial regions.
If we are going to try to fix an "anthropromorphic" problem, we should probably go after micro-plastics, PFAS, and other endocrine disruptors / neurotoxins. But, no ... that might involve some lower corporate profits, less plastic crap, and government accountability for its role for not discouraging these environmental abuses.
