It's early days. All I am saying is if engine failure is determined to be a contributing factor, whether it's a design flaw or not, GE or RR is gonna get drug into the mud pit for at least awhile. They might be able to ultimately prove they are not at fault and extricate themselves from said mud pit, BUT they'll still have to slog through some dirty, nasty times in any event.

Unless they find that the fuel was contaminated or a bizarre double-bird-strike took out both engines.

It does look like the RAT deployed, though. I don't have an alternate explanation for that. It implies engine failure, not pilot error.

I note what you said, though: "if true." It might not be true. The video could be fake.
