I appreciate the examples you and others have provided and I have already sent a number of them off to the person I said was caught flat footed.

For hard core leftists my preferred technique is to just smile and walk away or say, simply, "I disagree". I figure they are mentally or spiritually ill, so there is no point in trying to reason with them.

But what do I do when I think the person is simply ignorant or might be, otherwise, open to reconsideration of their viewpoint? Of course, I try to at least plant a seed. I have had good luck with climate alarmists when I ask them if they have ever seen a 500 million year chart of earth's average temperature. I've also had pretty good luck when someone throws out the word "Fascist" -- I ask them if they know what the word actually means.... I've stunned more than a few people who call the US a democracy by pointing out that we are actually a Republic...and then asking if they know the difference.

In this case, though, the person I wanted the examples for is actually, effectively, on board with most of MAGA. But just lacked the ammunition. When she brought up what had happened to her, I rattled off quite a number of murders by Democrats, Socialists, Leftists, Trans-sexuals (I've never met one who was't pretty transparently "liberal"), etc.

But, for myself, I thought someone of stature would have already done the analysis, because I'm pretty sure it would turn out that 90% of the violent crimes committed in this country are done either by registered Democrats or unregistered "socialists", BLM, professed Marxists, transgeners, sordid Woke types, or people on welfare (socialism in action).

So it surprised me that I couldn't find any careful analysis. Although, increasingly, I don't expect much of "search engines" when it comes to being objective.

So I threw the challenge up on this board, and I am glad I did.

You wanted a list to counter against a list from a leftist.

Why do leftists have lists ? It's the lock-step mindset that literally decades of programming have instilled to the mindnumbed; requiring constant updating via centrally distributed talking points released surreptitiously throughout the network of drones. I honestly think you are seeing the very real implementation of the 'hive mind', the actual origin of the 'Borg', in the woke of today.

The left needs, requires, demands, and relies on those distributed 'lists' so that protocols are fully engaged and followed.

So, is it really logical to respond with a reflection of that modus operandi, of should a different tact be pursued ?

As an aside/adjunct - my first full body engagement with leftists occurred on the CPN board of Raging Bull.
It was in very short order that the borgs told me they wanted to sit me down in a room, tie me to a chair, gag me, and FORCE me to listen to them.

If that wasn't the forerunner to 'You will be assimilated', i'll be hog tied, ridden hard, and put away sweaty.

WIll attempt to followup with a 'revised' proposed tactic - once i've had a chance to chaw on it a while.

If you haven't reviewed Alinsky's 'rules for radicals' lately, a refresher might be in order - the MO of the left is very much in accord with those rules, so keeping those front and center can aid the ole thinker and focus.
