I tried to warn ya, De.
Your body has what it thinks it is supposed to weigh. And if one tries to lose to much weight too fast, the body will say "Now wait a minute - I'm not supposed to be this light!" And it will conserve as much energy as it can in at attempt to NOT lose any more 'resources'. (Fat is a resource.)

I think ya gotta kinda sneak up on it. Lose a little at a time . . . Give the body time to adjust. Time for it to decide "I like being lighter."

I think it took me five months to lose close to thirty pounds . . . Then it took over three years to gain it back. (Christmas time is the WORST!)

Today (Friday) was diet day 61, two full months, and I'm down 24 lbs. The goal is 25 lbs though, and it feels like I'm stuck. I'm not sure why. I'm often eating just 700 calories per day, and never more than 1500. I should be losing them quickly, no?

I think CTJ said he experienced something along these lines.
