With all of the negativity in the world right now, and there is a LOT, we all need a little pick-me-up, and this writer is happy to oblige you, Dear Readers.
As you know, on October 7th, 2023, Israel was viciously attacked with no warning or cause by Hamas terrorists. This has instigated an ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The woke left here in the U.S. has gone all in for Gaza and Palestine, openly calling for the destruction of Israel, and we've coincidentally seen an uptick in antisemitic violence here on our soil.
So, sometimes it's just lovely to see these ignorant, self-obsessed, entitled little jerks finally get a taste of the real world and find out in real time that their views may not actually be as popular or accepted as they're convinced that they are.

They just assume their own ideology overlays fine on all “oppressed” people. It does not. They have no respect for actual *differences* in culture and thinking, and are astonished when they encounter it.
Spot on. We could not have said this better. This is a common theme among American leftists in particular: The White Savior Complex. Woke white leftists here in the U.S. are all too eager to be offended on someone else's behalf. It's virtue signaling 101.
They believe they're standing up for these poor, oppressed Palestinian people, when the reality they do not want to face is that there is a reason why Egypt has a seven-and-a-half-mile-long wall between itself and Gaza. Egyptian authorities have stated in the past that no provisions are being made for displaced Palestinians.
The Palestinians are a scourge ... none of their neighbors want to have anything to do with them. They are leeches who do nothing but cause strife and turmoil - and support murderous terrorism.
Again, there is a reason for that, and the leftists in our midst cannot (or will not) grasp this.

Activists stopped in Libya and Egypt ahead of planned march on Gaza

Egyptian authorities detained more activists planning to march to Gaza in protest of restrictions on aid reaching the territory, while security forces in eastern Libya blocked a convoy of activists en route to meet them. ...
The Global March on Gaza was slated to be among the largest demonstrations of its kind in recent years, coinciding with other efforts including a boat carrying activists and aid that was intercepted by Israel’s military while on its way to Gaza earlier this week.
Organisers on Friday said authorities confiscated the passports of 40 activists at what they called a “toll both-turned-checkpoint” being patrolled by riot gear-clad officers and armored vehicles. They said security forces had begun detaining and using force to remove activists from the area and suppress protests.
“If individuals are forcibly taken to the airport for deportation under false pretenses, participants are prepared to … initiate a hunger strike,” organisers said.
The group’s spokespeople urged officials from the activists’ home countries to push Egypt to release their citizens. Egypt’s Foreign Ministry didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
Friday’s detentions come after hundreds arriving in Cairo were earlier detained and deported to their home countries in Europe and North Africa. Before authorities confiscated their passports, the activists said they planned to gather at a campsite on the road to the Sinai to prepare for Sunday’s march. They said authorities had not yet granted them authorization to travel through the Sinai, which Egypt considers a highly sensitive area.
“We continue to urge the Egyptian government to permit this peaceful march, which aligns with Egypt’s own stated commitment to restoring stability at its border and addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza,” the activists said in a statement.
