I don't think I'd call this 'correcting you', De. I'd call it more like educating you by putting out some new facts.

Yep. Einstein predicted it. Satellite observations and experimentations proved it. And now I gotta incorporate 'time dilation' into my thinking on 'How The Universe Works'.

Fortunately, I recently read a 'David Weber' novel titled 'Rebel' in which when their Faster Than Light Carriers ( FTLCs ) come screaming in and drop below light speed they be traveling pretty close to the speed of light. And, thanks to time dilation, the FTLC's see it as being a few hours before they can reach a 'zero-zero' intercept with the planet they want to attack. In the meantime, in 'real time' the defenders have several days to figure out how to respond to the attack.
