Georg Cantor - - - Proved that.
I believe it was De that postulated to me that 'some infinities are bigger than other ones' . . .
And I found this Georg Cantor fella who 'proved it'.

Georg Cantor
German mathematician, inventor of set theory (1845–191
Georg Ferdinand Ludwig Philipp Cantor was a mathematician who played a pivotal role in the creation of set theory, which has become a fundamental theory in mathematics. Cantor established the importance of one-to-one correspondence between the members of two sets, defined infinite and well-ordered sets, and proved that the real numbers are more numerous than the natural numbers.

Well, of course there are more Real numbers than Natural numbers. One can take two natural numbers, say 2 and 3, and subdivide the space between into real numbers. And can even subdivide that space into smaller and smaller real numbers such that one could say that there are an infinite number of real numbers between two and three.
But in the world we live in . . . how important is that?
Here in the real world, integer numbers are fine for counting how many books De has in his collection. But my checkbook all by itself demonstrates the need for Real Numbers.
