I'm not sure how to respond about being called a "Skeptic." I *am* seeking answers. Is that bad? Is that your definition of a skeptic?

...there is only Skeptics and Know-it-all's in this world.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Re: “Godless... Atheist board... Skeptic.”
I didn't use those words or imply those things. If you think I did, I assure you that it was simply a shortcoming of written, often rushed responses. In fact, I have posted in the past that I think God exists. I'm not godless. Nor, with you and several other card-carrying Christians, is this an atheist board. I'm not sure how to respond about being called a "Skeptic." I *am* seeking answers. Is that bad? Is that your definition of a skeptic?

My belief system is different than yours. Easy answers weren't all presented to me in a form that I can accept, and I acknowledge more cracks in my views than you do in yours. But I don't think those differences should be grounds for intolerance or ridicule. In fact, because you are so versed in Scripture, I expect you'd find that most Christians disagree with you on many things. Are you done with them, too?

Theological beliefs are deeply personal, going to the very core of what we are. Every person with a sense of awe and humility has their own. None of us knows everything, even if some would have us think they do. In fact, we know very little. The best we can do is to have open eyes and minds and go where they take us. I was never led down the Bible path. Instead, following my eyes and mind, I've gone on a journey that's every bit as compelling of an argument for God: the very universe around us. It astounds me that others who believe in God don't see the universe with equal reverence.
