What is your diet? What’s a typical dinner meal? Are you still fasting?
I found on keto that if I fasted between 6:00pm and 12 noon that I lost more weight than just doing keto, also only eating one meal a day helped. Cut out all snacking. I found that eating a snack during to day triggered me into being hunger. So after I had a snack like few peanuts I’d be hungry want to continue eating. If I skipped the snack I’d be fine till dinner.

How much turmeric did you take? How did you take it. I have a bunch of turmeric powder but I can’t stand the taste so I done use it.

Re: “yer body requires PROTEIN as does yer muscles.... Its okay to diet. But don't skip important things ya need. ”
True enough. I don't want to start getting heart palpitations or anything else calamitous as a result of what I'm [not] eating.

My last blood panel was a driver for going on this diet. I've had marginally high cholesterol and triglycerides for years and am taking medication for both. Consequently, my doctor keeps an eye on liver function and has me do regular bloodwork. The April numbers were out of range and are grounds for concern.

Liver issues can be caused by turmeric - a common spice I began taking daily this year due to inflammation. (The inflammation is gone, by the way.) I discontinued the turmeric.

But liver problems can also be caused by too much dietary fat and carbs (including sugar.) The liver can repair itself in just 90 days, though, with weight loss and a diet like mine. In fact, it's why I'm going to continue as I have until the 4th of July even if I've reached my target weight.

So that's the plan...

On a different note, as of this morning I've lost 25 lbs. But it's only my 10 PM weight that counts. Any weight loss that occurred overnight is only going to be water. Still, it's an encouraging new milestone.
