Agree, monkeytrots. I agree on both counts. However, in the case of Flynn, weren't both Trump and Flynn caught flat footed? It was so early in their Washington 'Deep State' education. And I don't think either had a reliable, experienced legal/political team.
Also, Flynn said he had threats by the deep state to destroy his son?

Trump's biggest mistake in his first term, was when he allowed General Flynn to be 'assaulted' and removed from his position in Trump's admin. It cost him TWO IMPEACHMENTS and constant undermining by RINO's and Pence minions.
To allow the same thing to occur AGAIN, to one his BIGGEST ASSETS, aka. Elon Musk, would be a monumental repeat of tragic mistakes.
