Her leg from the knee down to the ankle is still a RED mess from the surgery and whatever it was they used on her skin.. It has lots of huge blisters and is scarlet red. Then there is the surgical area itself from both a total knee replacement and leg shortening surgery so both her legs are the same length.
So she's a mess. I finally had to sleep on my bed last night because my face was really Numb from lack of sleep tending to her around the clock..
Today she seems to be a little more alert and talkative but still in pain even though she has percocet in her.
So there is way to go.. She can walk only with assistance and a walker.
Her spirit is a little better though and the ice machine I bought to keep cold water on her wound is helping some..
I need sleep, uninterrupted. Hopefully sometime today I can take a power nap..

Not sure how all this is gonna work but I guess itwill eventually.
