Re: “And Harvey Milk was a Naval officer who served during the Korean War, which is more than we can say for our current 'Commander in Chief'.”

It's not about the current President. Nor is it about the man who issued the order: Pete Hegseth. It's about the U.S. Navy and the honoring of someone who did not deserve it.

Harvey Milk and Mayor Moscone were the same age and were assassinated together. They were BOTH officers in the navy. But while Moscone performed his duty and was honorably discharged, Milk was kicked out for lying. He wasn't any sort of a navy hero. He was just a fired navy lieutenant who, we later learned, was also a pedophile.

That's the big difference between the two men. And it's why Milk had a navy ship named for him while George Moscone did not. It was a purely political move ordered by fellow-faggot Barack Obama.

Just think of the embarrassment that must have been felt by the hundreds of men who had to serve on the ship since 2016. What Obama did was disgraceful. It's a shame that Trump didn't take care of this in his first term, but he was probably concerned about the effect it might have on his reelection. Well, that didn't work out as planned, but he eventually returned, intent on fixing a whole bunch of things. I think that it's great that either he or Hegseth are giving "Pride" celebrants like yourself one more thing to consider this month.
