I don't like 'Microsoft Studio' . . .
Seems to be a computer resource hog . . . and I get the distinct impression that anything I might do 'with it' somehow will wind up in the Microsnot wheelhouse.
I've been 'playing' at programming with Python for a while now. I use an editor called 'Idle'. (Apparently built into Python.) It does have a debugger (which I haven't actually dug into much.)
Python does do object oriented programming.
With 'Tkinter' one can do that GUI interface. Tkinter also has a number of widgets making a GUI type program pretty easy.
Python can do math on integers, Floats (Real numbers) and Complex Numbers ( 5 + 3i ).
One can get Python for Linux machines as well as Windoze machines.
I found this while looking for a WYSIWYG GUI editor for Avalonia. I've only dinked with it for a few minutes but it looks way more hospitable to me than /
