Wringer washing machines - my aunt had one when I was really young

...brings to mind an old expression "Getting your tit caught in a wringer"

TV dials with only a few channels - naturally

...less commercials and more content than all the 400 channels I got now

* Party line telephones - I remember when some of my relatives who were farmers had these

* Drive-in movie theaters - well, heck yeah ... I used to love going to the drive-in movies

* Milk delivery to your doorstep - yep, my mother had dairy products regularly delivered to the house all the time

* Penny candy at the corner store - you betcha

* Television test patterns - of course

* Jello-mold desserts at every gathering - always

* Ice cream trucks with real bells - used to come through the neighborhood every once in a while

* Wringer washing machines - my aunt had one when I was really young

* Metal ice cube trays - of course

* Drive-up bank windows - I still use these all the time

* Reel-to-reel tape players - excellent for playing long sets of music

* School desks with ink wells - saw some in elementary school, but didn't use any on a regular basis

* Record hops at the local gym - dances in the school gym were common

* Cigarette machines in public place - all over the place, yes

* TV dials with only a few channels - naturally ... and going to the store to test and buy replacement tubes

* Soda pop in glass bottles with a deposit - of course
