I used to love going to the drive-in movies * Milk delivery to your doorstep - yep, my mother had dairy products regularly delivered to the house all the time * Penny candy at the corner store - you betcha * Television test patterns - of course * Jello-mold desserts at every gathering - always * Ice cream trucks with real bells - used to come through the neighborhood every once in a while * Wringer washing machines - my aunt had one when I was really young * Metal ice cube trays - of course * Drive-up bank windows - I still use these all the time * Reel-to-reel tape players - excellent for playing long sets of music * School desks with ink wells - saw some in elementary school, but didn't use any on a regular basis * Record hops at the local gym - dances in the school gym were common * Cigarette machines in public place - all over the place, yes * TV dials with only a few channels - naturally ... and going to the store to test and buy replacement tubes * Soda pop in glass bottles with a deposit - of course
