I don't think you'll read this, but maybe somebody on your board of nitwits will. There are two types of illegal aliens: those who committed illegal entry, and those who came legally but are now required to leave, perhaps because their visas have expired. The latter is not a crime; it's a civil violation for which they can deport you. The former is a crime, a misdemeanor.

The vast majority of illegal aliens in the country right now ARE criminals despite not having been convicted. It has never been required to convict foreigners in order to send them back to their home country.
