The verdict is in from the mechanic: The fuel filter, the gas tank, and the straps holding the gas tank. $1,300.

We're going to have them fix the brakes, too. I can't very well plow the driveway while scared. (Part of the driveway skirts a 15' drop.)

Fuel filters can also get clogged and not allow enough gas to get thru them. This also causes motors not to run.

Keep yer fingers crossed that it might just be a clogged fuel filter... Ya know, varnish that builds from old gas just setting...

Anyway, let us know the outcome. I am kinda curious as to what the problem actually was..
