I disagree. Laying tariffs (referred to as "duties" and "imposts") is a power the Constitution assigns to Congress, not to the President.

He's been getting away with it as part of the Emergency Economic Powers Act. The court ruled that the majority of the tariffs do not rise to the threshold required by the Act.

A federal court has determined that Pres. Trump does not have the authority to impose tariffs.

These judges have hijacked the executive branch. These unelected judges are negating executive powers of a president who received 77.3 million votes. They are subverting the will of the people. This is a coup by the judicial branch of government.
