...I had a truck that would quit or would refuse to crank at times. Seems it was associated with whether or not the truck was pointed uphill or down. The problem turned out to be in the fuel pump which was inside the gas tank. Da fuel pump had two feeds and when the fuel would get below the top feed (meaning low fuel) it would shut off if ya was going downhill Runs fine the rest of the time. Seems dat da gravitational effect and inertia was starving the lower feed.

Did ya major in auto repair when ya wuz in college?

Or perhaps ya attended one of them hands on high schools? Iffen there is a mechanic close by to yer truck have them take a look and see iffen they can resolve the starting problem.. Ya could trade them one of yer prizes from the auctions fer the repair..
