Did ya major in auto repair when ya wuz in college?

Or perhaps ya attended one of them hands on high schools? Iffen there is a mechanic close by to yer truck have them take a look and see iffen they can resolve the starting problem.. Ya could trade them one of yer prizes from the auctions fer the repair..

Thanks! Great suggestions. Unfortunately, they are mostly suggestions that I can't do while the truck is parked 35 miles away on the land of an auctioneer who I've only just met. But I'll add the Dry Gas. THAT I can do. But I can't drain the current tank or check the fuel filter. Too bad. Those are things I can only do at home.

The timing of this is terrible, btw. My wife is flying to San Diego on Saturday. She'll be gone for two weeks. So, if this truck goes to a mechanic, I can't even pick it up when it's repaired. I'll have to arrange to have the mechanic keep the truck for two weeks. Some, I'm sure, will have no problem with that. Others will probably charge an arm and a leg.
