I see my cardiologist twice a years, usually in December/January for my stress/echo treadmill test, and then again in July/August for an EKG and a check of my pacemaker (my next appointment is August 8th). I've been seeing a cardiologist for close to 20-years, ever since my family doctor detected a heart murmur. For about 11 years my cardiologist followed what was diagnosed as a minor case of aortic stenosis (a leaky heart valve). Unfortunately, in the fall of 2016, about nine-months after I retired, the heart valve started to fail and it was replaced in January 2017, which was when they implanted the pacemaker, which is not uncommon when replacing a heart valve. In about three-years, they'll replace the pacemaker when the battery wears down. The heart valve should be good for another 18-years or so.

Had my yearly with my cardiologist, all's well.

He's terrific, the first thing he does as he wakes, checks to see if Trump died.
He's perfect for me!!!
