A second thing they've got in common is that they all regretted it… at first. My aunt - no stranger to surgeries - said it was the worst decision she ever made. But a few months later she didn't remember that at all. She was delighted with the results and said she would absolutely do it again.

I gather that recovering from knee surgery can be excruciating. But it will get better!

For the moment your wife is going through something terrible. She's so lucky to have you there.
