Same problem here. I tell my computer to "Store this file under this name in this directory" and it says "I got a better idea. Im gonna store it in a file and directory you don't have access to.

Anyway, the previous posting was generated because my 'computer backup strategy' blows.

I have a gazillion or so files in my computer . . . and probably two thirds (or more) are duplicates. So I'm sorting things out, finding old gems, and trying to re-arrange things such that I no longer have all those duplicates AND I can actually find things.

I actually have three drives in this beast. A 500 Gig C drive. A one terabyte, and a two terabyte 'data drives'. And a multitude of 'back up subdirectories' all over the place.
