Re: “I prefer a regular keyboard and mouse with a very large flat panel LED monitor.”
I once tested at 105 wpm typing. Then I started having problems with my hands that I thought could be carpal tunnel syndrome. A doctor said it wasn't... it was tendinitis. On his advice, I switched to an ergonomic keyboard which helped for a few years. Then my hands got worse and I switched from a mouse to a trackball (the thumb variety). That helped tremendously and lasted until my retirement. Somewhere around then, I picked up Dragon NaturallySpeaking and started speaking to my computer. At this point, I speak as much as I type and I'm sure my typing speed has gone way down. On the other hand, my ability to produce a paragraph or page has gone way, way up. Of the most importance, my hands feel normal again and I no longer care what type of keyboard I'm on. I still avoid ordinary mice, though. Nasty things. Brutal on the wrists.

Looks like a great buy to me De!

I use my HP laptop when I travel. I do not use it when I am home in my office.

I prefer a regular keyboard and mouse with a very large flat panel LED monitor. 24 inch diagonal.

If ya just wants to take something with ya on a trip to keep tracks of what's going on with things of interest they are ideal.. They work for using the internet as well. They just did not cost you a small fortune..

Nothing wrong with that. IF it ain't broke, it really don't need fixin'.
