In my experience, the Democrat voters really don't care about things like this anymore. And they also don't care about scandalous things like Clinton lying under oath in the Monica Lewinsky affair aftermath. Nor do they care about corruption -- they say things like: "ALL politicians take bribes". They really don't care about things like the reality of the Hunter Biden laptop story; the contents of the laptop; the proof of massive government intervention to squash the story so it couldn't help Trump. They don't care about "Lawfare" -- they think that is what the law, and politics, is for. They don't care about provable felonies.
They only care about "their team" winning, and the advancement of the supposed "agenda". They very much believe that "the ends justify the means".
That is just their value system.
That is honestly my experience of their alien nature, after talking to them on various issues over time.
Most of them, in my experience, are way beyond things like trying to get along or to legitimately compromise.
And, honestly, that is how I feel about them, now, as well. I try to be kind when I don't know anything about their politics. But when I determine someone, pretty much anyone, even a "friend", is still a Democratic Party voter, I assume the absolute worst about them and try to avoid them in every way possible. In my head I try to brand them "demon-rat" and not engage beyond the absolutely necessary. Why? Because I have become convinced, through enough exposures, that if I ever get between them and their agenda, I will be thrown under the bus. "You have to break a few eggs..." and all that, appears to be their marching orders.
They are the Borg. Don't waste your time extending normal benefit of the doubt their way.
Do you think I am being too "close minded"?
Sometimes, I confess, in spite of my knowing better, I have moments of weakness, where I try to apply "The Golden Rule". And sometimes I think -- naively -- that they just don't know better; they just don't have all the facts and the logic. But I generally regret those efforts. At least now, and as long as Trump is in office, I can generally just disengage from them and walk away. Because I don't own a Tesla. And I am not a "Republican".
