She didn't go down. (If you look closely at the video, it's not even clear that his punch connected. I don't see her head or body get rocked by an impact, though I might HEAR an impact. Hard to say.)

With your logic, if you are shot by someone who tries to rob you with a pellet gun, you are not allowed to respond with your .45. Maybe you can punch them and hurt them worse than you were hurt, but you can't stop them from shooting you again if that's what they're inclined to do - 'cuz your .45 makes you stronger than them and you've already evened up the injuries.

The law has it right, micro. Once the threat is neutralized, you can't continue responding. But until then, you can.

Sorry to hear that you were hit by your wife. My wife and I have never done that.

THAT was WAY overkill. I would not like have liked that woman either but I don't believe it required a Body Slam on HARD surface that could easily have briken several bones or if she bashed her head on the pavement this idiot would be facing felony charges..

That was not defending oneself. That was PUNISHING someone to an extreme.

But I did not hit her or retaliate..

It's never right to beat up a female if you are a grown man. Period..

Jes cuz you're mad and even if she hit him, was the response equal? **** NO it wasn't.

This guy should be really proud of himself for beating up a woman to an extent far more than she did to him..
