You might remember the Gourmet Salsa Kit I won at auction last month. I said I'd get back to you and never did. Well...

As you can see, there's not much to what I won. That's okay. It only cost me $2 and came with a Gourmet BBQ Sauce kit too! The Salsa kit includes a vegetable chopper - which you may already own, two empty jars, a cheap measuring spoon, standard spices easily found at the store if you don't already have them, and a cookbook. That makes the cookbook the only thing that's special about this expensive kit!

This is your lucky day. I scanned the cookbook, all 8 pages of it, and posted it on the FOOD board. If you have any interest in trying various salsas that are probably all incredibly easy to make, grab a copy of the cookbook image (there's never any guarantee that scanned images will still be there when you need them) and give it a whirl. I will be.

We bid on eighteen different things at the auction today. The only "win" is shown to the right.

I don't know when I was last so excited. $2. What are these kits worth?

FORTUNATELY, my wife is already going to go through that town on Saturday. The pickup won't be out of the way at all.
