Houthi rebels in Yemen fired on a U.S. military F-35 during recent operations, and the missile came close enough to the aircraft for the pilot to take evasive action, a U.S. official confirmed to Task & Purpose.

Yahoo news . . . Has a distinctive 'left wing propaganda' slant to it. And that particular article reeks of it.

So the pilot had to take evasive action . . . Par for the course actually. Now if the houthi terrorists HAD managed to shoot one down. . . .

By the way, I agree with you on the 'WartFrog'. I think we need to build a couple hundred or so brand new ones. With the computers and sensors used in the F-35 built in.

F-35’s close call over Yemen raises questions about how it’s used

...what we have here is an airplane so expensive that it should not be used in a war zone. I told the dumbasses to keep the warthog.
