Hi Scuba!

I was only trying to be specific about the Old testament Offerings as there were rules for what an offering, or "BURNT" offering was to consist of.

I like a good steak or beef roast as well as the next person so I have no qualms about eating meat.

I am not Jewish and I am not bound by The LAW which was given to the Jewish people of that time period.

Hope ya had some great picnics. They're fun and a good time..

I don't really know much about Presbyterians or their beliefs though my parents attended one of those churches.

The problem with talking about THE BIBLE is that the vast majority of people who attend churches have never read it from the beginning to end even once..

They don;t really know what is in it or how various Books are connected or referenced by other Books.

So they miss out on meanings and intentions.

I read thru the BIble once a year. Every year. That's about fifty times now since I began.

I study at least 8 hours a week and spend time in prayer with God.

People should get real acquainted with HIM thru prayer because if they are going to Heaven they will be spending ETERNITY with HIM and singing praises to HIM all eternity..

May I suggest that instead of us worrying about "denominations" or what other people are doing, it would serve us better to be obedient to THE WORDS of God contained in HIS WORDS and which will never pass away..

I have enough faults of my own than worrying about someone else's.. I am only a sinner saved by HIS grace....

So, micro, you do not eat hamburgers, cheeseburgers, steak, hot dogs that might contain cowparts? Do you only eat them if they are made from bulls? Is there a Christian version of halal and kosher that the Presbyterians didn't tell me about when I enlisted? I know, we only did anointing and not the whole dunking thing, but it still seems like I should have been advised about this happening in my general proximity. Especially considering the picnics we had (some cross-pollinating with them Baptists).
