it is not something I am going to consume or eat and I am not killing an animal for the fun of shooting it and seeing how good a shot I am.. I had plenty of shooting practice in a couple years time overseas. I'm a fairly good shot with a rifle and more than able to defend my self, my home, and neighbors. What I don't need is to go our hunting some animal who just out looking for something to eat themself and winds up being maimed by a bullet, or killed just for the fun of it or to mount their head on a wall.
THAT is just plain wrong to me.. YMMV.
And yes, I could live very nicely without deer meat.
And I do. I do not care for Jerky or deer steaks.
God did provide us some animals to eat. BULLS, Sheep, Goats. That's what I read. If ya fins some other animal God said to kill and eat let me know. I'll have to go back and re-read.. lol!!!! My memory is not as good as it was.
