You're wrong, and I don't even see how it can be debated. Hunting is BETTER than what you do. The animal has a chance - a GOOD chance. If you haven't ever hunted, you don't understand how hard it is. I've probably spent a hundred hours hunting. I have one deer and one squirrel to show for it. By virtue of putting in the time and effort, hunters have vastly more appreciation for "one of God's creatures" than those who buy the wings and ribs of another of God's creatures at the store.

Hunting is even kinder to the animals. With the exception of free range creatures, the meat people buy in stores came from animals that led horrible, tortured lives, sometimes never leaving their cages until the day of slaughtering arrived. How could you be okay with that?

When you "politely say no" to your friends, you aren't taking the high road. Not at all - unless you're a vegetarian, but I know you aren't.

shooting a beautiful creature like that should be outlawed imo.

I don't hunt to kill wild animals. I believe they have a right to live as much as I do. I have friends who are hunters and have asked if I wanted to go along.

I just politely say no..
I simply cannot see anything right about taking one of God's creatures just for the "fun" of it...

Iffen it was actually needed for food to feed a family that's a whole different thing.

It's not right for me...
