I expect you're right. I've already concluded that it's a diet that I'll have to frequently be on for the rest of my life. Those who have dieted know how difficult maintaining THAT mentality is. I'll need to do something along the lines of weighing myself weekly and, whenever I've gained 5 lbs, return to the diet.

CTJ may be the best role model we've got, and I think he said that he had regained some of what he lost.

I naively hope I can regain the mentality I had when I was young and really didn't care at all about food. I was skinny as a rail. Back then, I could skip meals or forget about meals - no problem! When I did eat, I didn't eat much or spend much time doing it. I was usually more interested in getting back to the things that I was doing than I was in eating. You guys were probably the same way in Vietnam. It's a good attitude.

I'd much prefer a juicy steak or even some barbecued chicken (which is why my diet ends... or is at least suspended... on July 4th.
