Yer observation of human behavior is likely spot on.
As far as going to Heaven or Hell, that is an individual choice of every living soul. It is a gift from God for each person to decide whether they would accept HIS SON whom The Father himself sacrificed with a shed blood offering of Divine Blood and placed the sins of the whole world on HIM from past and present and future to be atoned for by the Shedding of Divine Blood on the cross and then to offer eternal life thru HIS resurrection and overcoming of Death AND Hell..
Unless the Spirit of a HOLY GOD dwells within your heart BY INDIVIDUALS asking for HIM to come into your hearts and forgiving you of your sins, there is no writing of your name down into the Lamb's Book of Life . Christ MUST be Lord and Savior and HIS SPIRIT must dwell in your hearts thru HIS GIFT of Salvation He made for you and everyone THRU HIS SON'S blood offering for the sins of the whole world, including YOURS and MINE.
Scripture says clearly that "WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD there is NO REMISSION OF SIN". Hebrews 9: 22
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
