Yep.
I keep reading where a lot of areas on this planet are not making enough people to maintain population levels.

And, according to the graphic in your posting, the places which are making lots of new people tend to have very short life expectancies.

But I think it has to do with 'affluence'. As a society gets richer, food is more assured, social safety nets ensure the old are cared for . . . The population does not see the need to produce lots of 'little people'. Take my four sisters - they produced 2, 1, 1, and 3 babies. Seven babies to replace eight parents. And I don't think that is unusual in America today. Nor in South Korea, western Europe, and a lot of other areas.

For a while China had a 'one child' policy . . and I think that is coming back to haunt them.

I suspect covid and its 'vaccines' might have been an attempt to lower global populations . . . But that appears to be happening anyway.
