To qualify as libel, a statement must be false (fizzy's isn't), cause harm to Waltz's reputation (fizzy's didn't), and be performed with actual malice (fizzy's wasn't). Before you knock someone else's legal understanding, you might want to take an hour or so (two quarters, actually) of "business law" yourself.

I've actually taken a real live libel case to a well qualified attourney. Verdict: I was spot on - and had a damn good case. Confronted the libelers directly -- and they couldn't change their tune fast enough.

Think that trumps your hour or so of 'business law' class - in spades.

I do put my money where my mouth is.

What you wrote is libelous.
