Europeans and Democrats have been sucking off of America's teat for so long that they have neither appreciation for what they get nor an understanding that someone is PROVIDING what they take.

Perhaps an even better metaphor is that they're leaches, since a sow at least has awareness of the little parasites she feeds and gives her consent. The hosts for leaches are not giving willingly, and I think that's the situation most American are in.

The difference between the foreign and American leaches is that the Europeans are giving us *nothing* while Democrats - some of the Democrats - chip in, but usually less than their share.
