Good morning Sire!
Thank You for the recognition that good college futzball actually is played up north in yankee country . lol!!!!
I believe that the reason for that was due to the high level of play from the SEC and the Alabama decade of dominance as well as the Dawgs. Texas has been a stalwart over the past couple decades as well. Oklahoma has dipped from what they were under Barry Switzer imo, while Texas A&M has seen steady improvement to become a regular contender again.
Obviously the Buckeyes LOST a lot of good talent to the draft but the all world wide receiver who was a freshman last year is back with some other highly recruited wide-outs to go with him.
Notre Dame will be strong this coming season as they returned just about everyone and their coach is very good as well. They stole him from Cincinnati just like Wisconsin stole Luke Fickel.. Those schools had sizeably larger budgets than Cincinnati did and more prestige.
Won't be a whole lot longer until fall. Something to look forward to.
Per the listings in yer post about who all is no longer at Ohio Stadium it looks like an extensive re-building year with the hope of "Next man up" is a solid talented replacement..
